Okay, I admit... I'm obsessed with oats! I love how quick they are to pull together, how long they can tide you over from breakfast till lunch, and how healthy they are! Not too mention just how versatile they are!
And as we are headed into the new year, I think it is about best I honor it with this healthy recipe to get back on track from after the holidays!
Today's recipe is packed full of plenty of healthy fruit, not too sweet, and perfect to start getting back on track for the year! And it will be holding you on until noon!
Here's the recipe...
Blueberry Apple Overnight Oats
- 4oz Container Blueberry Yogurt (or ¼ C of any one of your favorite flavors)
- ¼ C Uncooked Oats
- ½ TSP Vanilla
- Pinch Ground Cloves
- Pinch Ground Nutmeg
- ½ TBSP Sugar
- 2 TBSP Milk
- 1/8 C Unsweetend Apple Sauce
- Heaping ¼ C Diced Apple
Layer the ingredients in a jar, or plastic container, in the order listed above.* Refrigerate at least 7-8 hours.
*The great thing about oat recipes like this, is your measurements don't have to be as precise as baking. You can adjust them to your own liking!
